Once your child no longer requires the Safety Bar this can be removed and the chair becomes ideal for toddlers and children. It brings them up to the ideal height for sitting at an adult table. The Footplate slides down into position as their legs grow and the base is sturdy enough for them to step up onto the chair independently. Using The Svan ® for smaller children helps to promote a good posture and prevents them from having to sit on cushions or strain to reach the table (this is especially helpful when learning to read and write.)
